Waco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Waco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My experience with Dr. Massey and his assistant, Michaela, was phenomenal. From the moment I sat down in the chair, Michaela made me feel comfortable and took excellent care of me. Dr. Massey came in, thoroughly explained the procedure, and made sure I knew exactly what to expect. I had a root canal, and to my surprise, I experienced no pain afterward and didnβt even need to take any pain medication. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr. Massey and his team to any of my family and friends. Thank you for providing such great care!

I suppose my review is only a partial one, because as it turns out, I won't be getting my procedure done here (long story, has nothing to do with the business itself!). But I did want to leave a review anyway, because the experience I had was a really good one, and based off that alone, I'd be willing to have work done here in a heartbeat (pretending my financial situation could handle it!). I'd definitely recommend them. I came in just for a consultation, but my doctor was running late. I think it was him I was hearing in the next room (I didn't WANT to eavesdrop, but it's hard to do!), performing a procedure on another patient. I think the patient had anxiety, which I understand because I do as well, but this dentist was SO amazing. He wasn't even working on me, and I felt at ease! I just heard him in there having a lighthearted conversation, making the patient laugh, etc. I can't speak for everyone, but that's the kind of personality I want when my anxiety is high. Anyway, assuming it was the same dentist, he came into my room with the same lighthearted energy, the type that makes you feel like he really enjoys what he does (rather than it being "just a job"). I had an emergency root canal today and went in feeling extremely nervous because of how much pain I was in. Heart of Texas Endodontics took incredible care of me from start to finish. They were able to get me in the same day as my referral, worked efficiently, and made the entire experience so much more manageable. What stood out the most was their bedside mannerβyou can truly tell they care about their patients and take pride in what they do. The team is knowledgeable, compassionate, and made me feel at ease during a stressful situation. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing endodontic care! Thank you Dr. Allowitz & entire Waco team!
